The club’s fifth core value, “Lead by Example,” isn’t just a catchy motto—it’s a war cry that echoes through every at-bat, every pitch,  every inning, every practice, and every moment this journey to becoming the best version of our self to not only serve ourselves but to serve others and our team.

The Rebel Republic: Leading by Example

True leadership and coaching is not about being in charge. It is about taking care of those in your charge. On this team, leadership isn’t about who wears the captain’s badge—it’s about each and every one of us taking charge of our actions, on and off the field. Someone once said, “Old keys don’t open new doors.” Sometimes, we are disappointed when we are not able to execute like we know we are supposed to and we need to change and adapt to the new situation. An authentic leader isn’t concerned with his ego but recognizes in order to succeed, you need to pivot and posture others into roles in order to put your best solution forward and be objective.

In Rebels Baseball, we know that talk is cheap, plain, and simple. It’s our actions that keep us moving forward. We understand that if we want respect, we must give it. If we want commitment, we must show it. If we want excellence, we must live it.
