Lessons Between the Lines – #8
Goals
Welcome back and listen up, because we’re diving into a topic that can either make you a winner or leave you in the dust – setting goals. I’m not here to sugarcoat it; I’m here to give you the unfiltered truth. Your life won’t change until you set your sights on something big and go after it like a savage.
First things first: goals are your roadmap. Without them, you’re just wandering aimlessly, hoping something good will happen. Well, hope ain’t a strategy. You’ve got to decide where you want to go, what you want to achieve, and then you’ve got to hustle like your life depends on it.
Let’s talk about short-term goals. These are the daily battles, the little victories that keep you motivated. They’re the building blocks of success. Every time you crush a short-term goal, you’re one step closer to owning your destiny.
Shape your day with small wins;
For example:
- Read 30 Minutes of a non-fictional book
- Publish a blog post
- Go to the gym
- Drink a gallon of water
This will develop a winning culture. The culture is created by winning every day. Sting a bunch of wins together and you have won a month. String months together and you have won the year. Get you a notebook and be accountable. Write 3-5 things down every morning. Revisit it before you go to bed, Did you win today, or did you lose?
And don’t even get me started on long-term goals. These are the audacious dreams that make people say, ‘You’re crazy.’ Well, guess what? Crazy is what changes the world. You’ve got control over whether you’re gonna be just another face in the crowd or the person who defies expectations and shatters limitations.
But here’s the truth: setting goals isn’t enough. Anyone can write down some dreams on a piece of paper. What separates the winners from the losers is the action. It’s the willingness to put in the work, to sweat, to bleed, to grind day in and day out.
Your goals should scare you a little. They should make you uncomfortable. That’s where the growth happens. You’re not here to play it safe; you’re here to chase your dreams like a beast on a mission.
So, what’s it gonna be? Are you gonna drift through life, hoping for the best and wishing for success? Or are you gonna set goals that light a fire in your belly, that drive you to become better, that push you beyond your limits?
Your goals are the stepping stones to your legacy. They’re your commitment to your future, to the empire you’re building. So get out there and set those goals – the kind that make people question your sanity. Because when you hit them, you’ll show the world what’s possible. This is your life, your goals, your time to rise and conquer.
